As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of your assigned room. In collaboration with the Educational Leader, you will assist with the development, implementation and reflection of a high-quality educational program for all children and families. You will build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators, staff and management to deliver the best outcomes for families and children, and you will provide leadership and support to educators and staff within your assigned room in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures.

As a Lead Educator, you will plan, implement and evaluate programs through your strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS). You will engage and support children through activities and experiences appropriate for age groups and stages of development, and you will also use your leadership experience to lead and mentor a team of amazing and passionate educators.

As an Assistant Educator, you will help with the preparation, implementation and evaluation of the educational programmes designed to bring out the children’s best. You will work collaboratively and support the teacher in delivering our educational programmes. You will also be part of the team offering a caring, secure and active learning environment.

As a Casual Early Childhood Educator, you will work well within the dedicated team that already exists at Oaklands and contribute to creating a happy and safe environment for the children and families who attend our service.

    You don’t need a lot of experience as we will train you. You will need a qualification (minimum Cert 3 in Early Learning) and a desire to bring out the best in children through nurturing guidance, support and care.

    Oaklands Child Care Centre is located on Oaklands Parade in East Brisbane. It is a fully approved provider of childcare, kindergarten and long day care and is owned and operated by Anglican Church Grammar School. As an Anglican early learning centre, we operate under the ethos of the Anglican Church and delivery a faith-based early learning philosophy.

    Oaklands is a well-established early learning centre with 90 places and a reputation for delivering outstanding early learning programs. It has a leafy outlook on a quiet street located close to the Brisbane CBD, with bus stops nearby on Vulture Street East and within walking distance of the Coorparoo train station.
